In addition to the various changes being made by Stagecoach East Midlands to their services in and around Lincolnshire from September 2010, some services operated by independent companies are also changing, the majority from the start of the new school term on Monday, 6th September 2010.
The 96/96A, run by Brylaine Travel, between Spilsby, Alford and Mablethorpe, sees minor timetable changes on journeys leaving Spilsby, with all departs 5 minutes earlier than at present. Journeys from Mablethorpe to Spilsby remain the same.
PC Coaches of Lincoln are taking over the running of the 87a between Lincoln and Newark, via Carlton le Moorland. The route was previously run by Veolia, before temporarily passing to Stagecoach (operated by Newark depot). This is a school days only variant of the 87 run by KJB, and is designed to serve the schools in North Hykeham.
Marriott’s Travel are withdrawing their 97B school service between Retford and Misterton with effect from 01st September 2010. No replacement is listed on the Nottinghamshire County Council website.
Lincolnshire County Council are also listing Kimes Coaches 37A/37B routes between Sleaford and Billingborough as withdrawn, though journeys provided by Centrebus and Sleafordian continue, with some timetable changes, according to Traveline.
