Midland General: 99P Timetable

Currently, a high number of searches are arriving on this blog with the subject ‘Midland General 99P’ or ‘Cotgrave 99P’ – well, for these people, I’m pleased to announce that the timetable for the service is now available on Traveline.

The service operates directly from Broadmarsh to Cotgrave, via Trent Bridge. It does not extend around the City Loop like the Red2. The timetable also includes peak-time extension from Cotgrave to Cropwell Bishop, in the morning these are timed at 07:38 and 07:58, 2 minutes ahead of the Red2, and in the evening these return at 17:17 and 17:37. Throughout the day, there is a 30 minute frequency maintained – though there are gaps in the timetable, notably from 11:17 to 12:17 (from Nottingham), but journeys are timed to leave Broadmarsh around 5 minutes ahead of the Red2 (at 17 and 37 minutes past the hour). At the other end of the route, buses depart from Cotgrave (Ring Leas) at 33 and 53 minutes past the hour, again around 5 minutes before the corresponding Red2 departure.

The start date for the 99P is the 11th October 2010.

UPDATE: The 99P also has its own website, found at http://www.99pbus.co.uk – this does not mention the Midland General name, and suggests a red livery is to be employed, with yellow branding. The route also has its own Facebook page.
