Kinchbus to Nottingham

As regular readers are no doubt aware, Nottingham is currently embroiled in a ‘bus war’ between Premiere Travel and Wellglade Group (trading as BargainBus). Up to this point, Wellglade have only launched services to respond to Premiere’s ‘Red’ services to Cotgrave and Briar Gate. The latest round is a different story.

Premiere had originally taken over the X9 between Nottingham and Loughborough from Arriva Midlands, who ran the service to an hourly frequency. Premiere increased this to every 30 minutes and have recently extended the service to run around Friar Lane in Nottingham. From the 13th December 2010, Kinchbus (a Wellglade subsidiary) are launching service 9, between Broadmarsh and Loughborough.

Timetable information is awaited with anticipation. I’d like to thank a commenter for drawing this registration to my attention, I’m currently rather snowed under with work – so I’m not keeping up with things very well!

About trentsidetraveller

A lifelong public transport user, enthusiast and occasional photographer. My travels take me around the country, occasionally overseas, but my most frequent journeys see me cross the River Trent on a regular basis. So the moniker of Trentside Traveller came about, and now I'm blogging about my travels, and the latest changes to public transport in the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire area.
